Press Release Summary: Home Instead Senior Care of Eatontown, NJ Celebrates 10 Years Serving Monmouth County's Elderly
Press Release Body: June 9, 2008 - Eatontown, NJ - Phyllis Venancio is a grown woman with a loving husband and three children of her own. and, yet, she still misses her grandmother each and every day. Although it has been more than ten years since her passing, Venancio can still recall the exact moment when her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
Like so many others who have gone through this terrible ordeal, Venancio immediately began looking for ways to help her family cope - particularly her grandmother. Unfortunately, the options were rather limited at that time. "We basically had three choices. We could move her in with one of us, put her in an assisted living facility or hire a full-time health aide," she said. "Fortunately, we were able to come together and make it work the best way we could; but, not everybody is in a position to do so."
Venancio was and is still convinced that her grandmother probably would have lived a longer and more fulfilling life post-diagnosis had it been for an affordable at-home solution that offered one-on-one companionship services to the elderly. And it was with that conviction that Venancio, a former school teacher, sought out an opportunity with Home Instead Senior CareT, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.
